A three-way partnership between your church group, a resettlement agency, and TRM to embrace one refugee family for three months… opportunities might include throwing a baby shower or welcoming a new family as they begin their new life in America.
Welcome Events
Volunteer at a family-friendly special event and be the fragrance of Christ in refugee communities… International Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Caroling, World Refugee Day, International Kids Kamp, and more!
Welcome Bundles
Provide a tangible welcome to a refugee family in our community by assembling a special bundle with essential supplies for life in America. Great opportunity for a simple, one-time outreach for a family or church group.
Sign-up to attend a Refugee 101 Info Night!
This is a required training for all volunteers and a First Step in getting connected.
After attending the training and when you are ready to begin a relationship with a refugee family, a TRM representative will partner with you to give advice and offer resources. They may also help you determine which opportunity to start with that fits your group.
